Lake Mburo National park is the nearest national park to Kampala the capital city of Uganda. It is  less than 4 hours drive to this tourist destination. Arcadia cottages Lake Mburo is an ideal destination for those that want to commune with nature in relative comfort.

The  cottages have a clear view of the park and are built on stilts to allow warthogs to burrow underneath and get warm at night. The lake can be viewed from the restaurant  and is home to hippos that walk up to the restaurant at night and graze right outside the cottages.

Lake Mburo National park is home to zebras, impalas, waterbucks and other animals of the antelope family. A leopard is occasionally spotted outside the last two cottages on a moonlit night making Arcadia Cottages Lake Mburo even more magical.
